Filitheyo Resort

Filitheyo Resort is a luxury resort located in the Maldives. It was constructed in 1999 and covers the entirety of Filitheyo Island.

Geography and location

Filitheyo Resort is located in the Republic of Maldives, a chain of islands in the Indian Ocean off the coast of India. This country is very flat, with a maximum altitude of seven feet. While the area does not have an abundance of land-based animal life, the waters throughout the area are rich in marine life, with over 2,000 species present.
